Founded at Auburn in 1879, the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega is the second oldest fraternity on campus, and has a very rich history. We have grown substantially in numbers in the past few years, bringing us to 110 active brothers, making us the 6th largest fraternity on campus. Even with our size continuing to grow, we pride ourselves in the fact that we still retain the close knit brotherhood that we did as a smaller fraternity.
At ATO, we strive to build our brothers into better leaders and better men. Resulting from these values, we have recently won numerous awards from IFC, most notably, the James E. Martin Award for the most outstanding fraternity on Auburn’s campus for three consecutive years. We have also received recognition from our national office, receiving True Merit awards for the past two years. We have also won the SGA spirit competition for three out of the past four years, giving us excellent block seating for Auburn football games. Both our brothers and pledges finished first in grades for the fall among Auburn fraternity men. We deeply pride ourselves in our achievements, but the most important aspect of Alpha Tau Omega remains our strong brotherhood.
Alpha Tau Omega has brothers involved in almost every organization on campus, and most recently, the outgoing SGA President, Kurt Sasser. At least one ATO brother has also served on IFC Exec for the past five years, as well as brothers in IFC Cabinet and Court. We also have brothers active in SGA, War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen, Camp War Eagle, Student Recruiters, IMPACT, and almost every honor society at Auburn.
ATO has been an incredible experience for me, as it has been for countless men. Whether you are interested in ATO as a rushee, parent, or an Alpha Epsilon alumni looking to reconnect, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Dylan Digmon
